right, ive finallt got pissed off enough with my old banger head unit, and have a bit of a problem with my new one, it crackles up really easy, even on low volume, easpecially when the bass kicks in, the unit and speakers are in perfect working order, ive cleaned up the loom, nice and neat with good connections, but it still dont wanna play ball! ARGH!
ive bin told i need to check resistance on all wires or somin as that may be the problem
only thing is, i aint gotta clue where to start and what to do! would help if i knew how to setup my meter to test resistance
can anyone help me?
and no, halfords is not the anwser, as their sparky would charge me a fortune

right, FINALLY got it sorted, me and my mate faffed for about 3 hours tryinh to work it out, turned out to be 2 wires connected a bit weirdly, original head unit works even better, and will almost go full chat! and the new one works well, still a slight bit of confusion on 1 or 2 wires, but that'll be fine, needs some farmer roots kept in the old girl
