You really need to take your time, personally I would not buy the pre cut kits as they often have joins in the middle of windows that don’t need joins etc. Also you can cut the film a bit bigger and it makes it easier to fit then just cut off the excess at the end (that the easy bit, getting the bubbles out is the hard bit).
When I have done cars I normally make a paper template of the area first then cut the film about 10% bigger. If you use a card to smooth it be careful as it easy to scratch the film, they normally give you a plastic card thing that’s more suitable in the kit.
Also the more interior trim you can remove the better (the front windows for example remove the plastic rubber bit on the inside so the tints go below it).
The back window on a Celica will also be very difficult to do, try and make the join lines fall on lines in the heated rear window so they do not notice too much.

Good luck Ps your going to need some external SJC stickers once finished.
Thumbs Up!

I’m not an expert but have done a few cars, its very time consuming though, I ended up doing my last mr2 twice because I wasn’t quite happy with a couple of imperfections the first time round but you can buy the film quite cheap so doesn’t really matter if you mess it up.

Clifford’s maybe, don’t really know last time I bought some it got it off some guy on a market selling it for £1 a roll which is very cheap (bought a few rolls, have some off cuts left but not enough for a whole car), I would expect to pay about £8 to £10 a roll and you will probably have enough from 2 rolls. Ebay might be a good place if your not in a hurry.
I found some film that faded from silver to black that I used on my last 2 looked quite nice, not sure if it would suit yellow?

(only did the rear windows)

about 10 mins to make the template, which you can obv use for both sides, then a few mins cutting film, washing window, then about 10-15 mins applying and pushing the water and bubbles out

i did end up with 3 bubbles though, never mind Razz
