i have it up for a higher price of 5750, i would like around £5500 ono. forgive me i copied the add i used on piston heads although i have more pictures here:

This car is my pride and joy and I really do not wish to sell it, I have been made redundant and unfortunately have too many priorities that I have to account for above my car. All my previous cars have been Honda's so I am familiar with their vtec engines, I can safely say that this is a great example of a DC2.

It is a 96 Spec Type R on a 97 Plate. The car is immaculate and I have spared no expense in looking after it, I have spent a lot on this car making sure that it is up to my standards and have all of the receipts. It has 138,000km on the clock which is roughly around 86,000 miles. I have a Jumvea certificate to prove that the cars mileage is genuine since it was imported from Japan. It comes with 6 months tax until October '09 and MOT until 3rd November '09. It runs like a dream. I purchased the car late last year, and replaced the cambelt within the first week of owning it. I have had all the break pads changed and also the front discs changed. I service the car every 3k miles as is meant to be done with vtec engines. I have also had the wheels resprayed as they were starting to flake. As far as I am aware this vehicle has not been involved in any major accident. The car has got a rear fog light installed in the rear lights so that it passes MOT, it doesn't have one of them big nasty square lights hanging of the bumper.

I have installed a Clifford Concept 650 at the cost of £450 (have receipts) to the vehicle, as it didn't come with any sort of security, which was fitted by GAP Security who are well known for their expertise in security systems. This system is top of the range with an immobiliser, and has a proximity sensor which beeps if anyone stands next to the vehicle for too long; it also covers all doors, boot and bonnet. I have the receipts for this also

I have also fitted a set of street legal and mot friendly 6000k xenon's which make for beautiful driving and really make the car stand out at night.

Car has the standard CD player although I have upgraded the front speakers to JL Audio Components and had the doors laid with dynamat at the cost of £250 (have receipts), I have to say they are awesome! The car also comes with a pioneer CD Changer in the boot.

As far as I am aware there is no damage to the exterior of the car and once washed it sparkles, the condition it is in for a car of that age is amazing. I make sure to choose the best spaces when I am out and about so I don't get any dings from other parked cars! Only bad point is that he rear bumper may need aligning (depending on how picky you are) as my neighbour forgot to put the handbrake on and their car rolled into mine, I have had it checked out and there is no major damage behind the bumper to the chassis.

Bad Points – The cars aerial does not retract when the car is switched off, but it works fine, I have purchased another one which is in full working order from Jap Performance Parts but haven't had the time to get it installed. I will give it away with the car.
The Drivers side Recaro could do with a clean, I can get this done before the purchase of the vehicle if needs be and I am able to get the time to do so. It is all minor, do not let this put u off the car.
This is a stunning example of an unmolested track car, do not miss your opportunity to own one of the best Japanese import DC2's on the market.

Seems cheap!! Thought they went for more than this? Do they fetch more or less than the UK Spec ones normally?

UK ones usually go for less then the JDM versions. this is a bargain for anyone that wants one!
