After the confusion at Japbash i was thinking that maybe we need either a banner or flags saying SJC on. The same applied to ATS at Brands, afew friends of mine was there and could not find us as there was nothing to show the club. Also should we not be proud enough to display the fact we are a club?

It just adds to the mystique surrounding SJC lol - only kidding.

If you or someone else knows where to get one at a fair price i dont mind paying out for one...

this is really one of the problems we have as a "club", the £5 membership doesnt even cover the cost of running the site, which isnt a problem, but it does mean theres £0 for anything else.

Why not make it so non members that have not paid cannot post listings or see most parts as then more people will pay the £5 or make it that all people that wont to register have to make a payment of £2.50 as all the people on here would have to pay full stop. Thumbs Up!

When i first brought membership in, it was £15, but you got a t-shirt and a pair of stickers....

to be frank it was a headache, and actually lost me money lol.

This is why I stuck to £5, for just site membership. While this doesnt cover the costs (im to blame for that, 50% of the current members have expired, ive just not chased up renewals).. it's alot easier to manage, and fair for those that just want to use the forum a bit more Smile

If the club was national, it'd be alot easier to generate money for a pot, as naturally you'd have more members. With SJC obviously its a local thing and while obviously not everyone in sussex with a jap car is on here, in comparison to other regional clubs its still doing better than most in terms of members and posts, so in terms of potential im not sure how far it could go.

Obviously things like a banner are one offs, not yearly, so I guess over time we could build up the schizzle for the nizzle.

If any traders would like to sponsor a banner and thus it doesnt cost SJC anything, that's certainly a possiblity Smile

I can get a banner done with no problem at all! I am after all in the print game Mr. Green

I have a guy I use for all of this kind of work who will do me a really good deal. I don't mind going the whole hog and sponsoring this completely as well.

Let me know
