Good god, look at you all with a half decent list for first cars (now i feel old Laughing ). Here's my list :

'79 mini 850 (yes you read that right) with sccr gearbox, twin carbs and various other mods for the time. Crashed and burned
Mini 1275 GT. Engine blew taking gearbox as well
Mini 1380 with full engine mods, cooper 's' 7.5 brakes using the 1275 clubman shell from previous car. Sold it.
MK3 Mini Cooper 'S'
MG Metro, big bore exhaust, K&N, 12' minlites, lowered (the correct way)
Mini 'Racing Flame' LE (1000cc) upgraded to 1293 stage 3 (110hp) blew a piston after 9000 miles. scrapped it and moved on.
MK2 Smart Passion, extensive mods, smaller wallet now. Engine expired after 125,000km's, engine replaced, sold on.
MK3 Smart Passion, used all the bits from the first one, needed a new engine, sold it on.
Smart Brabus Roadster Bluewave, SB2 upgrade (92HP), private plate, other half still drives it.
'94 Subaru Impreza STi, current car. The misses don't drive this one...... well only the once Wink

And as they say, the rest is history
Next car, almost the same as Mistertwo, but not quite, either a 350c/Sagaris or a Lacia Delta Intergrale Evo2 if i sell the impreza during the winter
Thumbs Up!

1L Automatic Mini which I spent £3k on doing up, eventually sold for £700 with no tax or mot.
Currently have a focus and the supra.

Only passed my test when I was 21 as I had my provisional withheld until I was 21 because I was a naughty boy Wink

Love the cerbera's.. Whilst in the RAF a few of them had Cerbara's, one with a Chimera, and one got a Sagaris in my last few weeks... After being in it, it just persuaded me that i need a Sagaris at some stage of my life...

well i have only owned 4 cars in the 9 years of driving

i started at 17 with a mk2 fiesta 1.1, i cleaned it all up and put xr2 bits on it like you do at 17...lol

then at 18 i got my saff cossie 4x4 which started off standard and ended up having a 530bhp rs500 engine build, leda coilovers, tarox 6 pots front brakes, ap racing 4 pots rear with hydro handbrake. ford motorsport bushes throughout. car was mint. i used it in sprints and hillclimbs and won lots of championship events with it

sold the cossie in 03 and bought the skyline , once again in standard form.

pics of the skyline are in the members cars bit
