Hi All

I've 2.5 cars. One is a normal 2.0l na mr2, which is just for road use. The other is a 3.0l v6 normally aspirated mr2. I plan on using the v6 80% road, 20% track, for say the next 1-2 years, and then move up a bit in power.

What are the options in the second hand market, for not more than a few thousand, for about 300bhp normally aspirated? Possibly rwd still?

is he looking now or a couple of years the post is confusing.

only the 350z come close to 300bhp with a normally aspirated engine for under £10k (i know that more than a few)

5.0ltr tvr's and bmw are close.

If you want a track car you want power to weight ratio not just power

for example

5ltr bmw 300bhp 2 tons = 150bhp/ton
5ltr tvr 300bhp 1 ton = 300bhp/ton

e36 bmw m3?

280ish bhp model and a 320bhp one. 320bhp one suffers from expensive vanos issues though.
