Bit of an update Smile I picked the shell up from the bodyshop last Thursday and the rest is being done next week, bumpers, calipers, spoiler, skirts etc etc.

We had decided on a custom blue but right at the last minute we thought 'lets make it stand out' Oh Yea And we sure have Surprised

Goes quite dark in the evening and really jumps out when the sun hits it. I don't personally like Kandy paints, but this stuff is actually a dye over a silver\aluminium ground coat. I think it looks the nuts ! VERY pleased Smile Not exactly a shrinking violet Very Happy

Had the Volks wheels refurb'd and painted black, I have new centre caps coming plus new brake discs, and with the orange calipers it should look pretty good.

I was going to paint the bonnet but might leave it CF and just have it relacquered, seems to suit it and breaks up the orange. The annoying thing is that I don't think the standard rear spoiler will suit it, might have to get a CF ironing board Embarassed Very Happy

Now I know it's not going to be to everyone's taste Wink But I think it shows up the lines really well and looks great - WELL pleased though.

Yeah they're a cracking car mate Thumbs Up!

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm well happy with it - although I think the purists wont be too pleased Laughing

Should get the rest of the bits back from the bodyshop by the end of this week, then it's time to put the big jigsaw back together. Never quite realised how much work is involved in a full, properly done colour change !
