Currently it is pretty much standard apart from a cone filter and some piping for supplying cold air to it. I have some lowering springs and some new shocks on order which I can't wait to fit. Will transform the handling compared to the twenty year old shocks & springs that are currently on there!

For the future I want to get a new steering wheel, some decent alloys & rubber, and once that is all sorted then I will save up for the nice V6 conversion that seems so popular for the car, plus a nice pair of bucket seats to go with it! Smile

Cheers,

That looks very nice. I have had a few sw20 mr2s over the years but never a mk1. The plans you have sound good. a v6 conversion would be interesting. I have only heard of the sw20 turbo engine going in.

Cheers peeps!

madaboutmx5s the V6 conversion is getting more and more common. Usually its the 3VZ-FE 3 litre out of the Camry. Thought I am not that technically minded, I'd probably pay someone else to do it! Very Happy

yeah its a fairly common conversion with the mk2's now, didn't realise you could do it in a mk1!

Yeah apparently the MK1 engine bay is an inch or two wider than the MK2 so its a bit easier to fit! Smile

Yeah the 4AGE is a great engine that just loves to be revved! Never driven a supercharged one though!
