I may stand corrected on this one but they have a liquid one

Drain oil, remove sump (about 20 nuts/bolts)
Then get both sump surface and bottom end surface as clean as you can from old gasket, even in the little groves. Dont bodge it as you will end up with a leak and have to do it again.

Put on new liquid gasket and put sump back on.

Read and see hoe long you should leave it untill its gone off enough to put oil back in

Im sure others will add tips too Very Happy

just as stacey says, (i've had the sump off her mr2 3 times)
liquid gasket = gasket paste, make sure its high temp and oil resistant Thumbs Up!
make sure not too go ott with the paste as if it gets into the sump it can block off the oil pick up.
you can get a sump gasket now that makes the job even easier

do the bolts up working your way round the sump so it all pulls up square.

should take no longer than half an hr

yep.. make sure you get all the old stuff off first... the genuine toyota stuff sticks like beep to a blacket. It will take a while getting it all off.
