well i think its a 60l tank, i took the sender units out earlier when the guage was on empty and it was still nearly half full! i cleaned the potentiometers and guess what! no difference! i put a tenner in and it went up to 1/4, then filled it up and it took 34 quid, and that was brimming it! so i think its a bit of guesswork as to how much fuel i have and my consumption!

well i just filled up after doing 269 miles and it works out at 25.6mpg, and that was not using the turbo at all! infact i didnt go over 60 the whole way back from farnborough!
Am happish, wouldnt mind a bit more, but its certainly better than hitting empty at 160 and dying at 220! i didnt hit empty till 230 this time!

Just got back from scotland! I filled up in carlisle, and i made it back to tesco durrington!
i was bouncing into the forcourt, but i made it! a grand total of 380 miles! that makes it 29.9mpg! Thumbs Up!

I did sit at 55-60 all way back from the m6 toll road though, didnt on the toll! Very Happy

I think i know the problem with the guage, i dont think the low level sender is working at all, cos i still have half a tank left when i hit empty!

i got 57 litres in there too when i filled up!

I reckon if i had not been a tit on the toll road then i could have hit 400 to the tank!
on the way up i did 355 before i ran out, and i was doing 80 all the way! so i reckon it can be fairly economical!
