Hi all, have had this car for nearly a year now, its time to move on to more than 2 seats! I also want to concentrate my efforts on the scooby, it needs work doing and i cant afford to keep both going, let alone one going and fixing the other one, so i have to let this go. I havent ever had an major problems with the car, the biggest thing being the wastegate got stuck openi ground the downpipe down so it wont happen again. I dont really want to part with the car, but needs must unfortunatly. Other than the few minor bits that need doing listed at the bottom, this car is a beast, dont be fooled, its rear wheel drive mayhem in the wet, its not a novice car, and not for someone who doesnt want a noisy bumpy fast ride. On the otehr side though, its great fun, roof off, sun shining, its amazing.

Upgraded to CT-20b from later spec mr2, holds boost to the redline and sounds amazing!
HKS intercooler and pipeowrk fitted by 3S
Fuel cut defence
MBC, and will run 1.1 bar all day long
New Rocker cover gasket
recent cam belt and tensioner
recent head gasket
all new disks and pads
clutch slips in 3rd 4th and 5th ( needs doing)
all wheel bearings done
Head bolts replaced
Hand brake cable
New headlight bulbs ( still in box )

Those are the bits a bobs that have been done as preventative maintenance

It also has
Full leather seats, black and yellow
mountney steering wheel and boss
low rise headlights ( not fitted )
speakers in doors and rear wings ( dont know anymore )
Amp cabling and power installed behind pass seat
DVD player and 7" screen wired up but not to amp
Original toyota windscreen with radio antenna built in
Steering foglights ( only one actually steers, but this is wiring)
Push button starter
Full TRD Spoiler (not fitted)
Toms passenger side scoop.
triple guage pod with oil temp guage and 1 bar boost guage, 1 space free.

Engine wise,
The block is standard, the valve shims have been done by 3S to eliminate a small rattle
XS Power tubular manifold ( has now cracked, but have original manifold too)
Blitz NurSpec exhaust, rather loud!
BIG K&N filter
Cusco front and rear strut braces
Painted Rocker cover and pipework
HKS Intercooler, fitted by 3S with custom pipework
ATS Racing throttle body
Blitz Super sound BOV ( Leaky but not too bad)
Poss standard LSD.

Also the car has a touch over 85k on the clock

Bodywork wise its not the greatest, its not bad either just a few minor little marks, I have found a very small amount of rust on her, but nothing significant. She has a full rev3 rear light conversion, with working fogs and reverse lights, plus also clear front indicators too, The driver side front fog does work, but has a loose wire or something, so is intermittant.
There is slight curbing on a few wheels, it also has abs, the engine is smooth and the boost, while harsh is predictable, and if you do push it and lose the back ina corner the LSD does make a huge difference in the characteristics of the car. Car also has a new mot on it, it needed a new droplink, which it has, and also a spare, other than that, it didnt have anything else at all.

There are a few downsides, where i removed the rear spoiler and filled the holes the paint is not overly great, but it wont take much to sort this out.
The clutch is going to need doing in the near future, it slips quite badly in third onwards, making it very hard to accelerate very hard. The front caliper squeeks, not sure why but it does, only on braking though, and the exhaust manifold has a crack in it, i do have a replacement, but i havent fitted it yet, and is included in the sale, its not hard to do, just a bit time consuming.
Although it has a few bits needing doing, its a cracking car, it has the potential to be a monster car, with a mappable ecu and bigger injectors you could see 300bhp, with maybe over 300lb of torque, and thats your 0-60 number you want.
The spoiler is available, but needs painting as was damaged and i have repaired it.

Right, enough blabbering on, PM me if you want my number or want to view, the car is currently in worthing in full running order.
Plus it has a cat1 alarm and immob, but will need to be recertified as i dont have the certificate.

Cheers Mike

Why do cars always crop up only a few miles away from you when you've just literallybought one Mad

Nice tidy 2 you have there & at that price it should fly off your driveway{thumbsup}
