i am considering purchasing one of these for mr2 cant quite decide if its a good idea or not.

It’s more about function than looks as it significantly reduces engine bay temperatures and also improves the aerodynamics a fair bit hence its use on many super cars. My main reservation is how impractical it will make the car in terms of reduced visibility. Also fact it involves drilling holes round the rear window area so it’s not totally reversible if I get feed up with it.
Ps would probably paint it black rather than colour code it for a bit of contrast against the white.

If its temps your worrying about, surely the money would be better spent on a High flow rad or something like the Rogue top mount fan set up.

Both would be far more efficient than the cover.

improved aerodynamics etc,
dont take this the wrong way but i've never seen you push your car to a point where your engine lid comes into question Confused
also the rookie racing wing was function over looks and that lasted about 15 mins Oh Yea
