Forum: National and Overseas Events Posted: Wed Aug 20, 2008 8:45 am Subject: Japbash Final Update |
Finally it’s here! Japbash 2008 is this Sunday at The Piltdown Man in Piltdown Nr Uckfield.
After months of planning, begging for favours and trawling numerous Jap Car forums and posting the meet details, we are there! Everything points toward this year’s event being bigger and better than last year’s event. And the weather forecast is also looking like it will be kind to us as well.
To answer one question that has been asked quite a bit in the last few weeks, Japbash is totally free of charge to attend, in the same way the old Bolney meet was.
With regards to what is happening on the day, we have Blitz and the boys from Auto BMC who are bringing down 10 top notch show cars which will form the centre piece of the meet, these are stunning cars that will no doubt be crowded for most of the day.
We also have our trade stands, firstly we have Jap Performance Parts from Crawley, Saj and his crew will be selling Jap parts for all makes of cars, their knowledge is second to none ... |

Right then guys. Just spoken with Saj from Jap Performance Parts.
Lots of good things coming from there regards Japbash.
For starters, he has got 3 magazines that want to cover the days events.
The amount of interest he has created is as usual exemplary, handing out flyers, calling and e-mailing people with regards this event.
With regards the cars on the stand, he is in his words 80% sure that one of the European Drift cars will be there, on top of that it there unfinished race car which as many people know is a complete beast of a car, then he has also arranged the STi Rally Car to attend the event too. He is also bringing a couple of other cars including one of the skylines he has there.
He is still actively getting the word out there and is hoping for more bit's and bobs for the day.
Top man Saj ! |

Another Japbash Update!!!
I dropped into see Saj at Jap Performance today and he has confirmed he is coming.
He is aiming to bring 4-5 cars with him as well. Which include the Drift Car, the race car, the rally car (that they sponsor), A Skyline and maybe something else. He is going to try and arrange for one of the British Championship drift cars to attend as well.
If anybody requires anything from Saj but can't get over to Crawley for whatever reason, I would suggest speaking with him and asking if he can bring the bits to Japbash.
If you need any more details, check out what he has got in stock at www.japperformanceparts.co.uk |
