Been asked if I wouldn't mind spreading the work about friends Nissan Pulsar GTiR that’s for sale.

The story behind this car was that it was a direct trade for a 1998 Golf 1.8 GTI due to the fact that he fancied some Japanese fun and the previous owner wanted something a wee bit more practical.

The sale is now needed due to the fact that as most of you know, fuel costs in these and cars alike is high, and regular trips to Southampton are proving too costly - so something more fuel economic is in order.

Description and spec:

(Basically copied from the Autotrader advert: http://atsearch.autotrader.co......ull=SEARCH )

1992 (K)

White with 97,000 miles, front mounted IC, Power Tech induction kit, AP Paddle clutch with about 1200 miles on it) B&M short shift gear leaver and linkage, front and rear strut braces, EBC discs and pads, Goodridge SS brake lines, Adjustable G-Force coilovers (6month old), 17" High Octaine alloys with P7000 tyres, HKS BOV, Nismo charge stabilizer, after market boost guage, gear shift light and rev counter, running approx 260 bhp and spent majority of its life on .65 bar. Recently had an Abbey Motorsport checkup, usual Pulsar extra's (folding mirrors etc and electric sunroof etc)
12 months MOT and 4 months Tax.

A reliable car which has been used as an everyday car without fail.

I'm no mechanic, but I would have to say from previous Pulsar ownership that this engine has had a lot of work done in preparation for a much higher BHP output (front mount etc) without the boost actually being applied. So I think it would make a good base for someone wanting to add a boost controller and get (at a guess) 300bhp out of it?

He is after £3200 ono

Any questions can be emailed to:
keithsimpson666@hotmail.com (owners email address) or 07799 038 172 (owners mobile number)

...or you can ask me here and I will relay any information.

The owner of the car is a very close friend of mine (after my own Pulsar ownership I reccomended him to get one of these cars)

The photo's are attached to the Autotrader advert, but I am actively trying to get some uploaded for viewing via this thread.

Man, I feel like a used car salesman at the moment!
